Some good Entertainment

Earlier today I was listening to a radio theater production of “The Magicians Nephew” which is the first in the series of books by C. S. Lewis called the Chronicles of Narnia. (maybe you’ve heard of it?) Anyway it was a really great story, and I could tell that Lewis was inspired by scripture when he was creating this story. While I was listening I could not help but think of how wonderful it is going to be when I die. When I die I will no longer have to picture heaven in my head. When I die I will no longer have to fight to see Jesus in a world filled with sin. When I die I will not have to wait any longer. I will be there, I will see Him, and I will be truly happy.

I hope that everyone out there realizes that this life we have now is not going to last forever (at least not the sin in our current lives), but the life that we have been granted through our God and Saviour Jesus Christ, that life is permanent.

I love the Magician’s Nephew. The picture of Aslan singing the world of Narnia into existence is beautiful… the way the items then created obeyed the voice singing over them was very convicting.

God was right. What He made is good. I cannot wait to see what the new heaven and new earth will be like.

The Bible says that it took God 6 days to create the universe. But, for those of us who are Christians, Jesus has been preparing a place for us for 2000 years!
